Synopsis by Nathan Southern

Best-known for its 1975 A&M LP Hair of the Dog - which yielded the hit single "Love Hurts" - the Scottish hard rock act azareth resurfaced in the late nineties after years of inactivity. The band issued a new album in 1998, Boogaloo, and is now showcased live in the home video debut, Nazareth: Naza Live, recalling its golden era. This issue actually contains two never-before-released concert films, remembering the band when it was still heavily into Gaelic folk-rock: a 1980 performance at the Galway Theatre in Edinburgh, accompanied by Billy Rankin, John Locke, and The Nazareth Orchestra; and a complete recording of Nazareth's performance at the Glasgow Apollo, at the tail end of the band's 1981 tour across Great Britain.
