Synopsis by Alice Day
The Nature series on public television include explorations of some of the more unusual wildlife locales of the world. In Nature: Fragments of Eden, the viewer can travel to the Seychelles off the coast of Africa and encounter highly distinct forms of animal and plant life not seen anywhere else. Its isolated location and strict conservation laws have preserved life forms that are important evolutionary links. Rare birds and mammals can be found here. The underwater sea life also includes several endangered turtles, who thrive in the environment.
