Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Napoleon Bonaparte (Gwyllum Evans) has become emperor of France and conquered much of Europe, but he is still lacking an heir. The Marquis de Talleyrand (Gerald Robertshaw) urges him to divorce Josephine (Gertrude McCoy), and marry the Arch-Duchess, Marie Louise of Austria (Mary Dibley). Napoleon does, and almost immediately, Marie Louise has a son. Unfortunately, the emperor's fortunes go downhill from there. It begins with his retreat from Moscow and his abdication to Elba. He returns with a lot of fanfare, but meets his Waterloo and is exiled to St. Helena. All this time he regrets his decision to divorce Josephine, who never stops loving him.
