A pair of buddies in desperate need of cash decide to drive from Munich to spend the weekend in Vienna and maybe pick up some income on the side. One of them had been a singing waiter until the place that hired him closed, and the other lost his taxi job and now has to drive a delivery truck to make a living. As they rattle along in their old Volkswagon, it is obvious that they are headed to some fairly absurd adventures in the city of music and culture.
