Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Richard Talmadge, a former circus acrobat and stunt double for Douglas Fairbanks, starred in the title-role in this bizarre silent melodrama from low-budget producer A. Carlos.Talmadge (né Metzetti) played Paul Lesage, a youth growing up in solitary confinement with his embittered father (Joseph Swickard). One night, in a state of somnambulism, the young man wanders into the real world where he falls in with his wayward mother (Carmelita Geraghty) and her unscrupulous paramour (Sheldon Lewis). After a series of what one reviewer described as "thrilling adventures," the former hermit manages to reunite his estranged parents before settling down with his mother's beautiful young ward (Duane Thompson). Both Carmelita Geraghty and Duane Thompson were elected Wampas Baby Stars, in 1924 and 1925, respectively.
