A child yearning for the perfect Christmas present learns the true meaning of Christmas isn't necessarily found under wrapping paper in this heartwarming holiday tale for the whole family. All five-year-old Carol Lee wants for Christmas is a bicycle, and when the excitable young girl sends a letter to the North Pole she's convinced that Santa Claus will make good on his vow to reward her for her good behavior over the past year. Despite the fact that he is unable to afford the gift that his adoring young daughter longs for, young father Joel doesn't have the heart to tell his little princess that she may be in for a major disappointment come Christmas morning. When the sun finally rises on that fateful day and young Carol Lee makes her way to the family Christmas tree, the gift she finds and the lesson she learns help her to realize the true meaning of the holiday season.
