synopsis
This biographical documentary travels beyond the popular mythologies surrounding Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and looks behind the façade of the great man's music, for a historical examination of the fascinating life that Mozart led - from his upbringing as a child prodigy, through his continent-wide celebrity in 18th century Europe, to his bizarre, seemingly inexplicable death (possibly from rheumatic fever, though other etiologies, including murder, have been posited) at the age of 35.
