Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Big Oliver Hardy plays a sappy young mother's boy in this Lubin split-reel comedy (Hardy was quickly becoming known as one of Lubins' more dependable stock players in late 1914, when this picture was released). Mother Pilkins (Eva Bell) utterly spoils her son, Percival (Hardy). She goes on a vacation, and poor Percival becomes prey for a couple of bullies, Tom Brown (Don Ferrando) and Bill Green (Burt Bucher). They flirt with Percival's sweetheart, Nellie (Nell Haldane), and give him a hard time in general. The chagrined Percival sends a wire to his mother asking for help. She sends back word that she is coming home to him. The bullies ignore this bit of information and proceed to beat up Percival. When the mother shows up and the guys see just how tiny she is, they are not intimidated. Unfortunately for the bullies, she has brought a prizefighter along with her, and he teaches the boys a lesson.
