Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Eleanor Courtierre (Enid Bennett) is working as an artist's model in Paris when she is visited by her sister Marie (Margery Wilson), who has come up from her coastal village home. Marie is pregnant and has the baby, but she convinces Eleanor to take charge of it so that she won't lose her sweetheart Pierre Bondel (Tod Burns). This, however, ruins Eleanor's relationship with her own artist sweetheart, Jacques (Rowland Lee). Things get even worse when back at the village the girl's brother Jean (Jack Gilbert) is accused of murdering the local miscreant, Raoul Bergere (Carl Ullman). All the evidence points to Jean, but at the trial, Marie confesses, explaining that Raoul was one who impregnated her. She is released, and Pierre swears to stand by both her and the baby, while Eleanor is now able to reunite with Jacques.
