In this wacky, supernatural comedy, photographer Kohei Morioka can never seem to get pictures of anything but ghosts, so he uses the dilemma to his advantage and goes on assignment for a magazine that examines the paranormal. While visiting an old castle in Germany, he meets a vampire girl named Hazuki, who seems far too cute to be deadly. This turns out to be true when she tries to suck his blood and make him her slave and it doesn't work at all. Morioka is free to leave after the attempt, but somehow, the process sets Hazuki free from the curse that kept her trapped in the castle. Morioka soon finds her living in Japan, and she begins living with him and his family. It looks like they'll be providing more than a roof over her head, however, because Hazuki needs protection from the vampires that once held her captive in the castle. They want her back, and their search for her might just bring them to Morioka's front door.
