Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Experimental oil drilling in Mongolia stirs a nest of bloodthirsty creatures that were once thought to exist only in myth, and draws them to the surface in search of fresh victims in this made for television shocker starring Sean Patrick Flanery. In a bid to locate untapped oil deep in the earth, an American contractor in Mongolia pumps superheated water miles underground. But there's no black gold under these desolate dunes, only screaming death. A nest of Mongolian Death Worms have been slumbering beneath these sands for centuries. Now they're awake, and they're ready to feed. And by the time these monstrous, crypto zoological anomalies make their way to the surface, it may already be too late. Mankind has lost his position at the top of the food chain, because when the Mongolian Death Worm strikes, the best you can pray for is a quick death.
