Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Director Dimitri Logothetis' documentary Momo: The Sam Giancana Story traces the life of one of the most powerful figures in the history of organized crime in America. Giancana survived a difficult childhood, and one day became such a dominant figure in the mob that he found himself at the center of a number of world events including the election and assassination of John F. Kennedy, as well as becoming romantically involved with Marilyn Monroe. The filmmakers interview Giancana's grown daughters in order to give viewers a glimpse of what this professional criminal was like at home.
