Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Spinster Emmaline Hodges (Bess Gearhart Morrison) had a romance in her youth that ended badly -- she was engaged to Jim Heath for eight years when her younger sister eloped with Heath's younger brother. But the brother had stolen funds from the bank where he worked and then disappeared. Jim covered the loss to keep his family's reputation intact, then went in search of his brother and never returned. Now middle-aged and sharing a home with her cousin Patty (Margaret Seddon), Emmaline runs a millinery shop. Patty inherits a lot of money and decides to use it to bring back Emmaline's lost youth and beauty. The two women go on a trip to the big city where Emmaline finds her old beau, who is very ill. She nurses him back to health, and they give their romance a second chance.
