Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
A talented young man (Stefan Maitec) works on a lathe in a factory to earn his living, studies at night, and plays rugby in his "spare time" - a schedule that becomes even more demanding when luck begins to turn against him. The jibes of his immediate boss get more pointedly critical, he loses out in a love-interest, and then has an accident that takes away rugby for awhile. Just when nothing at all seems to be going in his favor, he gets important news from the admissions department of a major school - maybe life will take a turn for the better after all. This is the second film for director Dinu Tanase, who began his own career as a cinematographer.
