George Frideric Handel's Der Messias, as arranged by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, is performed here by the Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart and the Bach-Collegium Stuttgart. These choirs are led by musical director Helmuth Rilling, and the performance, sung in Germany, features solos by soprano Donna Brown, mezzo soprano Cornelia Kallisch, tenor Roberto Saccà , and bass Alastair Miles.
