Produced for the Discovery Health Channel, the weekly, hour-long Medical Profile shed its spotlight upon the health issues of the Rich and Famous. On the first episode, Sarah Ferguson, aka the Duchess of York, discussed her battle against obesity. Later programs focused on such topics as Parkinson's, manic depression, drug addiction, multiple-personality disorders, and AIDS; the all-star lineup included Roseanne, Carrie Fisher, Quincy Jones, and Christopher Reeve. Co-produced by Canada's Alliance Atlantis, Medical Profile premiered on October 7, 2002.
