Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
Actor turned director V. Shantaram spins this tale adapted from Tantric legend about a sage named Machhindranath (Govindrao Tembe) and his teaching about the illusionary nature of reality and desire. In the film's outset, the sage seems to have wandered into a fiefdom of man-hating women. Instead of being killed, he marries the Queen, seemingly abandoning his lifetime commitment to chastity and purity. Appalled, Machhindranath's student, Gorakh (Master Vinayk), ventures to the kingdom to rescue his guru. Instead, he is captured and tortured by the women. In the end, the whole ordeal proved to be an illusion orchestrated by Machhindranath to test his protégé.
