Synopsis by Hal Erickson

The original title for this crazy-quilt Czechoslovakian children's fantasy was Mate Dome Iva? Two young friends (Ladislav Ocenasek and Josef Filip) arrive at school one morning to find the doors locked and the building deserted. Along comes a talking dog, who escorts the kids to a fantastic land where animals are able to converse with children. After vanquishing a music-hating sorcerer (Karl Krautgartner), the boys win a magical auto race. They return to their school, where the boys' parents await them. "And what did you do in school today?" they ask....
