Tom Tyler plays a cowboy who inherits a ranch in this well-mounted silent Western, which co-starred freckle-faced boy actor Frankie Darro. The ranch contains a secret: a hidden cache a gold. According to the last owner, only a certain horse knows the whereabouts of the treasure. Despite the skepticism of his friends, Tyler manages to locate the gold, only to be held up by villainous foreman Ethan Laidlaw. With Darro's help, however, the villain and his henchmen are soon defeated, and Tyler can settle down with Darro's lovely sister, Dorothy Dunbar.
