Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Raphael, a sculptor (King Baggot) dreams that he is plying his trade in the times of ancient Greece as Phydias. On commission from Georgias, the richest man in Asia (Ned Reardon), he creates a series of beautiful statues. One figure of a woman is so beautiful that it comes to life, but it spurns Phydias' love in favor of Georgias. Raphael wakes up to have this whole scenario virtually repeated in real life -- a beautiful society woman (Jane Fearnley) poses for him. He falls in love with her, but once again, she chooses money over love and accepts the attentions of a wealthy man. The broken-hearted Raphael winds up marrying a girl that his mother has chosen for him.
