Gen and his girlfriend, Hoshimi, were the epitome of normal until the day they met Lipumira. A treasure hunter from another planet, the buxom, beautiful, and scantily clad pirate whisks the two away in a monolithic spaceship just in time to escape much of Tokyo being blasted. It seems that she thinks Gen is the "Mapman" -- a legendary figure in alien history who is the only one able to decipher the sacred "maps" left behind by a lost alien civilization. These maps hold the keys to the greatest treasure in the galaxy, and privateers like Lipumira have been searching for the Mapman for ages. Gen is sure that Lipumira has the wrong guy, but as events unfold, his opinion begins to waver. Whoever the Mapman is, the secret of the maps can't fall into the wrong hands or it could mean destruction for the entire universe.
