Arumi and Sassi are two best friends who are about to be separated by a family move. For all of their lives they have lived in the Abenobashi shopping district in Osaka, Japan, but those days are about to come to an end. Before they do, however, the breaking of a pelican statue sets into motion a wild transportation of the two friends to a wild, upside-down version of their home. Running through bizarre worlds from fairytale China to the prehistoric era, the pals seem to see just about everything except the way back home.
