Once again, Ira's (John Pankow) heart is broken by a beautiful girl. Even so, the girl in question has a profound effect on Jamie (Helen Hunt), who elects to adopt a bold "new look." Both Jamie's cosmetic recklessness and her husband Paul's (Paul Reiser) careless tongue figure largely in the climax of the episode.
