Synopsis by Janiss Garza
The title, either by accident or design, is very similar to another film, Lying Lips, which had been released a few months earlier. Dave Martin, a teller for a Wall Street bank (Darrel Foss), and office manager Frederick Vibart (Ramsey Wallace) are rivals for the hand of Vibart's secretary, Adele (Edith Roberts). She chooses Martin and they wed. While they are on vacation at an expensive and fashionable summer resort, 50 thousand dollars are found missing from the bank. Circumstantial evidence points to Martin and he is sent to prison for a year. While he is serving his time, he sees a newsreel which shows Adele and Vibart together. Martin is bitter over this, and when he is released, he goes to confront them. Adele, meanwhile, has promised to run off to South America with Vibart, but at the dock, she snatches his grip and calls for the police. The grip contains the missing money and he is taken to jail. Martin shows up just in time to see this, and Adele explains how she was able to catch Vibart at his game. The story to this routine drama was written by John A. Moroso, the winner of a movie magazine contest.
