Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Country girl Myra Dymsley (Frances Nelson) refuses to marry Stephen Wright (Lumsden Hare), but he loves her enough to secretly fund her way to New York so she can continue her art studies. In the big city, she falls in love with Robert Lawton (Douglas MacLean), who takes advantage of her, then dumps her for a girl of his own class. His sister (June Elvidge), however, insists that he do right by Myra, so he proposes. She haughtily turns him down. Stephen comes to New York and finds out about Myra's affair. He hates Lawton but still wants to marry Myra. However, Myra -- an emancipated woman ahead of her time -- tells him she wants to continue her art career, and if she does well, she may then return for him. This picture was adapted from the play The Point of View, by Jules Eckert Goodman.
