This mystery melodrama was a routine programmer for Shirley Mason). The happily married Julia Crossland (Alma Francis) discovers that Thomas Chadwick (John Miljan), a former flame, still keeps her old love letters in a box. Her sister, Evelyn Jefferson (Mason) is engaged to Chadwick's secretary, Jimmy Stanton (Gordon Edwards). When Chadwick sees Julia he threatens to show the letters to her husband (William Irving). She begs Evelyn to help her get back the letters. Evelyn goes to Chadwick's home and sees an argument between him and a woman he has callously cast-off. Stanton eventually fetches the box of letters for Evelyn, but when Chadwick is found dead, Stanton is suspected of murder. He is cleared when events reveal that the vengeful brother of the rejected woman was Chadwick's killer.
