Synopsis by Alice Day
Todd Coleman is dying of AIDS, and in this program, his last weeks of life are shown, as friends and caregivers lend support. For those who aren't clear on the course of the disease, Living With AIDS can be an eye-opener. In its final stages, AIDS renders its victims virtually helpless, who must rely on the help of others for their needs. Coleman spends his last days in a hospice, where volunteers try to keep him as comfortable as possible. His lover is nearby, and his social worker is there to provide assistance. By putting a face to AIDS statistics, the program offers a revealing look at a devastating disease.
