Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Little Shoes was essentially a "Cinderella" story, albeit with a bit more depth than usual. Henry B. Walthall was cast as David Noel, an outwardly successful gentleman with an inward sorrow. Noel's will to live is mighty low, but he is redeemed by the love of Rosalind (Mary Charleston), a girl whom he's rescued from deprivation. Most of the acting in the story is done with the eyes, particularly the soulful optics of Mr. Walthall. Excessively sentimental at times, Little Shoes was elevated by the performances of the principals.
