Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Born into poverty and despair, hero Patty Barring (Gladys Leslie), aka "Little Miss No-Account," never abandons her yearning for comfort and affection. While helping out at her father's seedy gambling emporium, Patty is swept up in a raid staged by new district attorney Edwin Sayre (Frank O'Connor). Falling in love with Patty, Sayre attempts to orchestrate her reformation, which begins by trading her raggedy clothes for some fancier duds. Thus, almost by accident, are Patty's dreams fulfilled. Like many films of this period, Little Miss No-Account perpetuated the myth that all district attorneys lived in baronial country mansions, with a retinue of servants at their beck and call.
