Synopsis by Janiss Garza

aka The Little Gipsy A Gypsy mother wraps her baby up into a basket, but as the caravan crosses a stream, the basket falls and floats away. The infant lands near the Scottish town of Thrums and is found by an earl, who calls her Babbie and raises her as if she were his own child. As Babbie grows up (portrayed as a young woman by Dorothy Bernard), she finds herself attracted to Gypsy ways, so she often dresses up and dances in the forest. One day she meets up with a staid young minister (Thurlow Bergen), and she captivates him. This scandalizes his congregation until they find out that she is the Earl's adopted daughter.
