synopsis
In director Sonja Jasansky's fictional short Lines, a wayward adolescent is forced by her teacher to stay after class and write "lines" as reprisal for her errant conduct. When the geeky prof attempts to persuade her to conform to accepted behavioral standards and cliques (thus "fitting in"), the student finally reaches her breaking point.
