Some of the more powerful leaders of the British Isles were women, and this program features one of the most notorious, Queen Maeve. One of the oldest Celtic legends of Ireland concerns the fierce battle between Queen Maeve and the legendary Cuchalain of Ulster, and is presented in Legends of the Isles: The Warrior Queen.
