synopsis
Free-spirited 20-year-old student Chaja is the daughter of concentration-camp survivors. Evading eviction, Chaja finds work as a nanny with the Kalmans, an Orthodox Hassidic family. Initially rebelling against their traditions, she eventually comes to terms with their lifestyle as she teaches their four-year-old to listen to his father.
