A haunted war veteran returns home from the battlefield a broken man, and commits to helping his troubled 10-year-old neighbor find his long-lost father in this drama written, directed by, and starring Martin Papazian. When Anthony Hayward (Papazian) returned home from his tour of duty, his marriage was broken and his future looked bleak. He seemed to be locked in a dangerous downward spiral when a desperate voice cried out from next door. Wade (Tristan Lake Leabu) is a young boy from a broken home. When his drug addicted mother fails to get sober, Wade's social worker (Laura San Giacomo) reveals to Anthony that he will be taken into protective custody. Recognizing that Wade's future is in jeopardy and driven with a newfound sense of purpose for the first time since his discharge, Anthony absconds with the boy, and embarks on a desperate quest to track down his missing father. Meanwhile, as Anthony and Wade forge a powerful bond that begins a cathartic healing process for both, the police set out in hot pursuit.
