Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Assistant deputy Charles Easton (Roy Stewart) is defeated in the election for sheriff by Ransford, an Easterner (Norbert Cills). When Davison (Harry Rattenberry) is found wounded at home and his safe ransacked, Ransford has trouble tracking down the culprits. Davison's pretty daughter Rose (Fritzi Ridgeway) asks Easton to help, so he does, but suddenly he goes crazy and shoots Ransford dead. With a hefty price on his head, he runs off to a neighboring town and continues acting crazy. Because of this he is able to track down and capture the outlaws. As he brings them to jail, he is arrested for murder, but Ransford appears -- his "killing" was a set-up to aid in getting the bad guys.
