Laid Off on AllMovie

Lethargic college graduate Mike gets fired from his dreary office job, and uses his severance pay to party like an undergrad in this comedy about life among the irresponsible and unemployed. It didn't look like things could get any worse after Mike received his pink slip, but then his girlfriend walked out on him, too. Longing for the days back in college when nothing mattered more than partying all weekend, Mike takes his best friend Jimmy's advice and uses his severance check to fund the ultimate slacker summer. But when Jimmy leaves Mike high and dry, it quickly becomes apparent that living the high life only means you have further to fall.
