synopsis
This Canadian-French co-production features 60-year-old Montreal native Caroline reflecting on her life and marriage to an Englishman who gave her one daughter, businesswoman Rachel. An affair with a Congo rebel resulted in another daughter, Myriam. Eventually her community work in Africa brings her an Order of Canada award.
