The 2005 Puccini Festival, situated in the picturesque village of Torre del Lago, Italy, mounted this production of Giacomo Puccini's three-act 1910 opera La Fanciulla del West (The Girl of the Golden West), directed for the stage by Ivan Stefanuti, with sets and costumes by Nall, Alberto Veronesi conducting and Stefano Visconti serving as chorus master. The production stars Daniela Desi as Mini, Fabio Armiliato as Dick Johnson, Lucio Gallo as Jack Rance and Massimo La Guardia as Nick. The Orchestra & Chorus Città Lirica provides musical accompaniment.
