Synopsis by Robert Firsching

Prolific cult director Jesus Franco turned his attention to adapting The Most Dangerous Game in this superior erotic horror film. Young Silvia Aguado (Lina Romay) visits her friends Bob and Moira (Robert Woods, Tania Busselier) at their isolated beachfront house for a few days of relaxation. Instead, her hosts take her across the water to the island home of Count Rador Zaroff (Howard Vernon) and his perverse wife Ivana (Marie-France Broquet). The Zaroffs turn out to be fond of sadistic sexual games, and are aided by Bob and Moira, who procure their victims. Before long, the Zaroffs send Silvia running nude through the sand dunes and hunt her with a bow and arrow. For Silvia, things only get worse, as she learns that the Countess is also a cannibal. Marisol Hernandez appears as a fugitive girl, and Caroline Riviere co-stars. Filmmaker Gerard Kikoine was a co-editor of this well-made thriller, re-released in 1975 as Les Croqueuses with additional hardcore inserts (also directed by Franco) featuring Monica Swinn and Pierre Taylou.
