Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
The life of an unwed mother, who must work and raise her child alone, is closely examined in this film. The mother (Martine Chevalier) is waiting for her reporter lover to return from the war in Africa. She is not sure he survived, but if he did, she believes he will return. In the meantime, another suitor is sent away while she remains true to her great love.
