Synopsis
One of the most prestigious and honored live anthologies from TV's golden age, it presented, in nearly 12 years, some 650 productions. Actors who appeared included Grace Kelly, James Dean, Rod Steiger, Jack Lemmon, Warren Beatty, Lee Remick, Anthony Perkins, Art Carney and Helen Hayes, and superb directors like John Frankenheimer, Sidney Lumet and Fielder Cook worked on the series. One of its most memorable productions was Rod Serling's 'Patterns,' which won a 1955 scriptwriting Emmy.
