The rock group Korn assembled in 1992 and almost single-handedly invented the Nu-Metal sound, a direct response to the decline in popularity and prevalence of grunge. Composed of James "Munky" Shaffer, Brian "Head" Welch, Reginald "Fieldy Snuts" Avizu and David Silveria and, ultimately, David Silveria (knee-deep in mortuary science education when he signed on!), the band began life as frontmen for such high-grossing acts as Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson, and Megadeth. They signed with Epic Imprint in late 1994 and a string of EPs - from 1996's Life is Peachy to 1999's Issues and beyond - consistently hit big with listeners and dramatically increased the scope of the Korn fan base. The hour-long documentary Korn: Keeping the Faith provides a rare, intimate look at the history of the band, from its '92 inception through the present day. It includes dozens of rare photos, one-on-one interviews with band members, friends and associates, classic Korn concert footage, and much, much more as it traces the group's meteoric rise to the top of the charts.
