In this Russian drama, a airline pilot discovers via a found passport that his daughter, whom he believed killed during WW II is alive. He then remembers the painful time he spent searching for her when she was a baby and decides to use the passport to find her. He ends up in Siberia where his alleged daughter works as a nurse. Meanwhile she and her boyfriend are traveling home from an excursion when they have a bitter fight after she makes him stop the car and help a mother and her ailing child. She ends up hailing a cab to get home. Imagine her surprise when she learns that the other passenger is her long-lost father. A joyful reunion ensues.
