Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter
The color and camera experts at Kodak take the armchair traveler on a tour of Greece. This cradle of Western heritage is a land of contrasts. The program explores both bustling ancient cities and austere coastal regions. After taking in some of the famous ruins in Athens, there is time for a respite by the sea in a small Greek fishing village. The light plays on the water and the whitewashed cottages that are emblematic of the Greek experience. The outstanding visuals are accompanied by an account of the natural history and folklore of the region.
