Synopsis by Hal Erickson
This cable TV reality show extended 12 wildlife experts the invitation to become hosts of their own nature show. The catch: There was only one nature show up for grabs, and the dozen experts would have to compete for the honor. The rules: The dauntless dozen were required to perform such risky stunts as climbing trees, swinging from vines and "wrestling" with dangerous beasts. Oh, and the winner had to look good and sound good as well. Hosted by ubiquitous Animal Planet personality Jeff Corwin, King of the Jungle debuted October 13, 2003.
