Synopsis by Mark Deming
In this comedy, which takes a satiric look at vintage crime films, Kent Oscar (Michael Austin), an overweight and inexperienced private detective, finally gets to investigate a major case when he's called in to find out who murdered sausage tycoon Eddie Pflutzensteiner. Could the culprit be Pflutzensteiner's conniving widow? His less-than-stable daughter? Or maybe some pesky aliens who've been bothering Kent in his sleep? Kent Oscar, P.I. was written and directed by Kenneth Austin, who's brother Michael played the title role.
