This little mystery is set in Finland. The film begins at a train station as a young woman waves goodbye to her aged husband. As soon as he is out of sight she engages in sex with her lover. But this is not real. It is only a scene from a meller which is being filmed. The scene is based on true events that occurred in the distant past. Later the scriptwriter is stabbed to death in a sauna after he threatens the producer who wronged him years ago. The search for the murderer is on. Is it the producer himself? The over sexed lead actress? The location manager? Or is it one of the townies where the movie is being made?
