Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
In chapter two of Universal's Jungle Jim, Jim (Grant Withers) is saved in the nick of time by Joan Redmond (Betty Jane Rhodes), who calls off her ferocious lion. But Jim and sidekick Malay Mike (Raymond Hatton) are instead captured by the local tribe and brought before the Cobra (Henry Brandon), a white jungle ruler claiming to be Joan's father. With Joan and Cobra's sister, Shanghai Lil (Evelyn Brent), looking on, Jim is forced to fight a tiger, a battle our hero eventually wins. Jim and Malay Mike are free to go but the Cobra surreptitiously substituted their bullets with blanks. Thus, the fearless duo is helpless when confronted with Lebat (Paul Sutton), one of Bruce Redmond's (Bryant Washburn) henchmen. As chapter two reaches its conclusion, Jim is knocked unconscious and carried over a waterfall.
