Produced by the Welsh service of the BBC, Juice was a pop-music confection designed for younger viewers. Hosted by radio personality Magenta DeVince, the series dispensed "your weekly ration of juice" by offering an impressive roster of musical guest stars. The fact that the really big acts never appeared was something that the producers preferred not to discuss in their publicity handouts. Juice was broadcast from 1986 to 1987.
