Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Rowing in their canoe, Van Beuren's cartoon stars Tom and Jerry (not the cat-and-mouse duo) are accosted by a slightly effeminate fish. Then they hear music from beneath the waves, courtesy of a piano-playing octopus, two eels, a lobster and a sawfish. Ultimately, T&J settle down to go fishing (with "woims") and duck hunting--but succeed only in snaring each other, thanks to a clever, fedora-wearing "daddy" fish. Musical selections include "By the Beautiful Sea".
